Title: Request for Investigation into Violence of the HONG KONG POLICE FORCE

Dear Sir / Madam,

We are writing to express our concern over the brutal violence by the Hong Kong Police Force in the past 4 months, especially a case of "murder" happened today.

Police attacked a protester using live ammunition for the first time, in Tsuen Wan district, in a major escalation of force. Although shots have been fired in warning in other protests, and serious injuries have been caused with rubber bullets and beanbags used by police, this is the first time someone has been hit with a live round. The Hong Kong police hit at a young protester, Tsang Chi Kin (曾志健), 18-year-old high school boy's chest in a very short distance by a real gun today (October 1,2019) as the video shown.

The Hong Kong SAR government turned a blind eye to the heightened police-induced brutality and abuse, and continues to refuse citizen's demand for setting up an independent investigation committee to look into the current turmoil.

We, Hongkongers, are experiencing a humanitarian crisis and we hope to seek your attention and consent in launching an investigation into the current chaotic situation in Hong Kong. With faith in ICC's international, impartial status and connection with the UN, I do believe you are able and willing to save Hong Kong people from the violence caused by the government and police force of the city.

May justice be upheld.

Yours faithfully,

Hong Kong citizens
